MAPIR Portal Update: 2016 Eligibility Date Error
Due to the late opening on October 15, the Colorado Registration and Attestation system is causing an error that deems some eligibility dates in 2016 as invalid or out-of-range.
Providers who are trying to select 2016 eligibility dates and receive an error (see screen shot below) will need to select dates from 2015. The 2015 eligibility dates do not have to match your documentation as providers or delegates will have the ability to go back into the attestation, after contacting the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program Coordinator, to fix the dates.
If you receive this error, please follow the directions below.
Providers or delegates submitting their attestation must go to the ‘Patient Volume Tab’ and select the option ‘calendar year preceding payment year’ and enter January 1, 2015 (the end date will self-populate.) This will allow providers or delegates to move through the portal and enter in required data and upload documents including documents that support the eligibility dates being used in 2016.
Once the provider or delegate is ready to submit the attestation, contact the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program Coordinator, Kelly Hernandez, for the final step. The Department asks providers to not submit without contacting the Medicaid EHR Incentive Coordinator first.
If the provider has already submitted the attestation with wrong or invalid eligibility dates and needs to submit with 2016 dates, please contact the Medicaid EHR Incentive Coordinator as soon as possible.
