CORHIO focuses on connecting practices to HIE & closes the application process for Approved EHR Integration Vendors

CO-REC is committed to assisting eligible providers with the selection of a certifed electronic health record (EHR) system. As part of this effort, CO-REC developed an initial Approved EHR Integration Vendor List.

In September of 2011, CORHIO and CO-REC made a strategic decision to close our EHR Approved Integration Vendor application process while we focus on connecting practices with EHRs to the CORHIO HIE. Starting in February 2012, CORHIO will highlight those EHRs that have successfully connected to CORHIO regardless of their AIV status. The AIV process will be phased out completely by fall 2012. If you have any users in CORHIO’s territory (eastern part of the state), and they are interested in participating in HIE, please contact Janice Whittleton, the Director of Business Development, jwhittleton@corhio.org.

Technology and Business Services Vendors
While CO-REC is committed to providing end-to-end services to help providers meaningfully use an EHR, we recognize that primary care providers, rural health clinics, community health centers and other types of small clinics across the state have unique technology and business needs that may not be completely served through the REC program.  CO-REC is providing a list of "approved" organizations, individuals or consulting firms committed to providing high-quality, cost effective services to providers.  This application process is now closed and will reopen after all initial applications have been processed.  No changes are scheduled to be made to this list.
