South Metro Primary Care (SMPC), one of the largest primary care independent practice associations in the Denver metro area, along with their medical management company Physician Health Partners (PHP), have announced plans to connect the electronic health records systems of its 118 primary care providers to the CORHIO health information exchange (HIE).

CORHIO announced today that it has partnered with 9Health Fair to enable authorized physicians and medical professionals to electronically access their patients’ health fair test results. Providers who participate in the CORHIO health information exchange (HIE), and set up to receive data, will access lab results through CORHIO’s secure, web-based network, PatientCare 360®.

CORHIO announced today that HealthONE has signed an agreement to participate in its secure health information exchange (HIE) network. The seven HealthONE hospitals join 28 other hospitals around the state already connected to CORHIO, including Centura Health which operates 13 hospitals connected to the HIE network, of which seven are located in Metro Denver. HealthONE is a subsidiary of the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), which is the nation’s largest private hospital system.

CORHIO announced today that it has successfully connected 21 iPN member practices, including more than 40 medical clinic sites, to its secure health information exchange (HIE) network. iPN is a multispecialty, clinically integrated network of physicians and medical clinics that use a shared electronic health record (EHR) system. By connecting their EHR to CORHIO, iPN providers now have more complete and up-to-date patient information at their fingertips, allowing them to more efficiently and effectively manage their patients’ care.
