Community Health Partnership Provider Network Connecting to Colorado HIE

Community Health Partnership (CHP), a coalition of more than 25 provider organizations in southern Colorado, announced today that it has signed an agreement to connect to the CORHIO (Colorado Regional Health Information Organization) health information exchange (HIE) network. CHP includes some of the largest health care provider organizations in Colorado Springs and the greater Pikes Peak region, and collectively provides care to more than 143,000 patients. CHP will begin the process of connecting its members’ electronic health record (EHR) systems to the CORHIO network starting next month.  MORE +

CORHIO Experiences Triple-Digit Growth in 2014

Metro Denver's Largest Health System Connects to the CORHIO HIE

CORHIO announced today that HealthONE’s eight Denver-area hospitals have successfully connected to its health information exchange (HIE) network. The hospitals include The Medical Center of Aurora, North Suburban Medical Center, Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, Rose Medical Center, Sky Ridge Medical Center, Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital and Swedish Medical Center. Combined, the hospitals accounted for more than 1.2 million patient encounters in the last year. HealthONE is a subsidiary of HCA.  MORE +

Colorado Health Technology Regional Extension Center Program Reaches Goals, Enables State to Be a Leader in EHR Adoption

CORHIO announced today that the Colorado Regional Extension Center program completed its goal of helping 2,295 primary care providers and 33 rural and critical access hospitals adopt and meaningfully use electronic health records (EHR) technology. The Colorado Regional Extension Center program was funded through a federal ARRA HITECH grant, awarded to CORHIO in 2010 by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) and The Office of the National Coordinator of Health IT (ONC). CORHIO Announces Four New Board Members

CORHIO announced today the confirmation of four new members to the organization’s board of directors. The new directors elected to the board are: Patrick Gillies of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Jason Greer of the Colorado Community Managed Care Network, Michelle Mills of the Colorado Rural Health Center and Alexis Sgouros of Kaiser Permanente Colorado.   MORE +
