MAPIR Portal Updates and EHR Incentive Program Tips 

 

CORHIO is helping the Department of Health Care Policy & Financing educate providers on the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program. The MAPIR system will be available and accepting Medicaid Eligible Professional attestations for Program Year (PY) 2021 beginning May 10, 2021 and closing August 9, 2021. Resources, including webinars and checklists, are available below.

Selecting Program Year 2021 Eligibility Dates

Many participants are requesting assistance in finding appropriate eligibility dates for Program Year 2021 attestations. To assist, we have highlighted some helpful information to use when selecting dates. Read more

Known Errors or Issues

January 28, 2021

If 

f selecting the option 12-months preceding attestation date, participants have a 12-month date range to select from. For example, if you were attesting  on May 10, 2021 (must submit attestation on day selected), your date range would be any continuous 90-day period between May 10, 2020 through May 10, 2021. If using this option, participants must not use prior year attestation dates and must use dates after the prior year attestation dates.

Example: If attesting using option 12-months preceding attestation date for example May 10, 2021 you can use dates from the months and years below.

If selecting the option prior calendar year to payment year (program year) using a continuous 90-day period in calendar year 2020 from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020, participants must not use prior year attestation dates and must use dates after prior year attestation dates.

Steps to Take if You Experience Issues

Please use the template below to gather all necessary information in order for your issue to be escalated. To escalate your issue, email the information below to medicaidEHR@corhio.org.

FYI: In order to assist with the fix of your error, you will need to include screenshots of all pages encountered before the error or list the steps that lead to the error message. Including the date and time of the error and all screens before the error is helpful in solving this issue.
