CORHIO Welcomes Four New Members to Board of Directors

Starting this month, four new CORHIO Board of Director members begin their terms of service to help guide our organization’s mission to improve health information exchange in Colorado.

Patrick Gillies of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Jason Greer of Colorado Community Managed Care Network, Michelle Mills of Colorado Rural Health Center, and Alexis Sgouros of Kaiser Permanente have joined CORHIO’s Board of Directors, effective October 1^st. These appointments increase the number of directors to 15.

"CORHIO has benefited greatly from the engagement, leadership, and statewide perspective of its Board," says Morgan Honea, CORHIO CEO. "We are confident that these four new members will be invaluable resources as CORHIO continues its work to improve the health care system for all Coloradans."

Board Member Backgrounds

Patrick Gillies serves as the Regional Administrator for Region VII, Health Resources and Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He brings a wealth of health data experience to the CORHIO board, including behavioral health clinical data and public health.

Jason Greer, Executive Director for the Colorado Community Managed Care Network, has a particular interest in improving health and cost outcomes for federally qualified health centers and safety nets. With his extensive time serving in Colorado’s health care industry, Greer has gained a deep understanding of initiatives in our state and how technology can be used to improve outcomes and lower costs.

Michelle Mills is the Chief Executive Officer at the Colorado Rural Health Center, where she is working to improve collaboration and provide resources for rural health clinics, urban underserved clinics and rural/critical access hospitals. Mills brings a deep understanding of quality improvement and community-level programs to the CORHIO board.

Alexis Sgouros is the Colorado Vice President of IT and Business Information Officer for Kaiser Permanente. Sgouros has a strong technology background and a vision for what integrated medical records can do to improve patient care.
