CORHIO CEO Morgan Honea and Colorado Office of eHealth Innovation Director Mary Anne Leach will present: Colorado’s Health IT Success: What’s Our Secret Sauce?
CORHIO and the Colorado Office of eHealth Innovation are honored to be selected to speak at the 2019 HIMSS conference, which is the largest educational event for health information and technology in the world. Their session on the Colorado Health IT Roadmap and Health Information Exchange success is in the Leadership, Governance, and Strategic Planning track. The session will be held Tuesday February 12, 2019 from noon to 1:00 pm.
This session will detail how the Colorado Health IT Roadmap was developed with support from the federal level, state legislators, policy makers, technology experts, government partners, care providers and patients to drive higher consumer engagement, help create an environment for value-based payments, and to support Colorado’s Triple Aim: Best Care. Best Health. Best Value. Lessons learned will be shared that can benefit many different types of organizations hoping to change the healthcare infrastructure in their organizations, regions and states. The important role of sustainable health information exchange will be discussed, as well as ideas for gathering the right players who can share a spirit of collaboration with patients at the center.
