With the retirement of CORHIO’s Chief Financial Officer Peggy Micklich, CORHIO welcomes Tim Dunbar, previously the Director of Finance and Administration with Colorado Health Institute, who has assumed his new executive role this month.

The CORHIO board of directors and executive leadership team are pleased to welcome Tim Dunbar to his new role as Chief Financial Officer. Dunbar most recently held the position of Director of Finance and Administration at the Colorado Health Institute. In his role, he directed the day-to-day financial and accounting activities, managed grants and contracts, oversaw human resources, benefits functions and IT vendors.

“We’re incredibly excited for Tim to join our team. Tim comes to CORHIO with a long history of working with stakeholders across Colorado to improve the health of all Coloradans," said Morgan Honea, CORHIO CEO

“I also want to thank Peggy Micklich, our former CFO, for her years of service to the organization and her lifelong dedication to improving the lives of Coloradans,” said Honea.

Experienced in Colorado’s Nonprofit Health Care Landscape

Dunbar has extensive experience as a financial leader within Colorado’s nonprofit health care community, which will be a tremendous asset to CORHIO. His ability to cultivate strategic partnerships to grow cohesive business practices focused on enhanced efficiency, profitability, and cost savings will help drive CORHIO’s growth in Colorado and beyond.

“I’m enthusiastic and eager to join the remarkable team at CORHIO and continue my commitment to improved health for all Coloradans. I’ve long been familiar with CORHIO’s work because the Colorado Health Institute was the fiscal sponsor that got CORHIO off the ground in the mid-2000s. CORHIO is a vital part of our state health infrastructure and has tremendous opportunities to deepen its impact in the coming years.”
