CORHIO Selected by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid as a Qualified Registry

For the third consecutive year, CORHIO has been designated as a qualified registry (QR) capable of collecting and submitting clinical quality data to CMS on behalf of MIPS-eligible healthcare practices.

“CORHIO is thrilled to be one of the Qualified Registries selected for 2020 to assist physicians report their quality measures,” states Kate Horle, Chief Operations Officer for CORHIO.

As a QR, CORHIO will assist in streamlining data collection and manage the submission of quality reporting for the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) on behalf of participating providers.

CORHIO’s QR participants with receive support for MIPS reporting including selection of measures and data validation. According to Lauren Girard, Director of CORHIO’s Transformation Support Services,

“CORHIO has seen an increasing number of EHR vendors charging for quality reporting, at the same time practices also continue to struggle to work with the vendors to correct inaccuracies in reports.”

CORHIO will work to fill that gap by pulling data from continuity of care documents and ensuring a thorough data validation process, help with data mapping as well as assisting practices understand their measure definitions.

As a QR, CORHIO will be responsible for providing quarterly feedback reports to their participating clinicians, which will provide the clinicians with the opportunity to make more rapid changes to improve quality of care.
